DIY Penguin Decorations

If you are a penguin lover, you'll want to check out these 2 DIY penguin decorations. Even if you're not a crafter, these are so easy to make that you'll may consider giving it a try.

Let's start with the glass block project. First apply the self-adhesive holographic paper to the front of the glass block. Then apply the self-adhesive "Baby it's cold outside!" vinyl on top of the holographic paper. Insert the battery-operated firefly light strand inside the glass block (through the opening on the top). Add a bow, and you're done!

Our next project is so cute too!  Paint the unfinished pedestal shadow box with the new Pre-Mixed FolkArt Milk Paint by Plaid. Once dry, distress the edges with sand paper. NOTE: If you want a darker color to show through, you'll paint a dark color as your base color, then paint your top coat in a lighter color.

Once the paint is dry, apply the self-adhesive penguin vinyl shape to the front of the glass. Then open the top lid by sliding it sideways. Insert artificial snow. Close the lid. Add any embellishment of your choice to the knob. We added a jingle bell on a ribbon.
