Wizard of Oz DIY Projects

We were so excited when the company Paper House Productions came out with their new WIZARD OF OZ paper collection! Our team of designers created multiple projects that we hope will inspire you to recreate scenes that will bring this popular movie back to life in your home.

Wizard of Oz Yellow Brick Road SHADOW BOX
• Glue a 12" x 12" Wizard of Oz sheet of paper to the back of the shadow box. Adhere a Wizard of Oz vinyl quote to the front of the glass. You can also add small decorative items inside the box if you wish.

Wizard of Oz SHADOW BOX
• Use the same technique as mentioned above. Add the "You had the power all along my dear" vinyl quote to the glass. We have many vinyl quotes to choose from, and you can also visit our Imaging Center for "custom" vinyl quotes and graphics.

Wizard of Oz DIY Wood House Shelf
• Use our unfinished wood house shelf as your surface. Paint it with a color that will match your Wizard of Oz paper. Cut pieces of your paper and adhere to the inside walls of your house. Add mini decorations to create a fantasy scene. We used our die-cut machine to cut out the paper shoe and monkey (click here for information about the free use of our die-cut machines and dies).

Wizard of Oz DIY Home Sign
• This project looks difficult, but all you have to do is use our unfinished wood letters that you will place face down on your Wizard of Oz paper and trace the shape of the letters. Cut the shapes, glue on your letter using Mod Podge. Add a top layer to seal and protect.
